I've been trying to write a book for years. I write stories, sure, but not books. And even those don't get published. While I wait for the day to come when I actually finish a book or sell a story  and thus become a successful author, I work at the IT department of a state university.

I wear a black floppy (some would say Aussie style) cowboy hat with a green and red parrot feather in the band. Said feather is held securely in place by a Club (the card suit) pin I acquired from Lackadaisycats.

I'm 28, been married going on five years, and on the weekends I get together with friends to play tabletop roleplaying games.

I often struggle with writer's block, occasionally going months between writing anything new on a project. In light of this I've chosen an appropriate avatar: a slug.
