You are leaving the main pack.
You know the silence so profound that it's like you can hear the air...?
I LOVE MILES PROWER! hehe :D
If I could be a superhero, my ability would be to say the thing that would touch a person's heart and make them feel special.

'LIE' and 'LAY' (the verbs)
LIE : an intransitive verb. You use it when you're lying, when it's actually your body in that position. (Note: I'm not talking about the opposite of telling the truth here, and the two versions of lie are conjugated slightly differently.)
LAY: a transitive verb. You use it when you are moving something, e.g. 'I am laying the baby down'.
Conjugations
Present:
LIE: I lie, you lie, he lies, we lie, they lie
LAY: I lay, you lay, he lays, we lay, they lay
Past:
LIE: I lay, you lay, he lay, we lay, they lay
LAY: I laid, you laid, he laid, we laid, they laid
Present Participle:
LIE: lying
LAY: laying
Past Participle:
LIE: lain
LAY: laid
If there's anything you want to ask me about 'lie' or 'lay', feel free to ask. :D

The big mystery about 'its'
According to 'The Book of Words' by Tim Glynne-Jones, "Possessive nouns take an apostrophe, possessive pronouns do not."
This is why its shouldn't be it's to indicate possession.

Creative writing is the language of imagination,
Poetry is the song it sings,
Emotion flows through its veins

What did you do at school today?
I spent just over two and a half hours in the library.
Yay! I'm so cool!

What can I say about me? Well, I love languages - all aspects (I found an online Etymology dictionary exciting and adore French grammar) - and words to me are just ... awe-inspiring. I love reading and (as you may have guessed) writing, like time to think (which is NOT solitary confinement as one of my friends teases) and genuinely enjoy school. My favourite colour is blue, my favourite animal is the wonderful cat and my favourite book is ... hmm, probably Endymion Spring although I like a fair few others. My favourite subject at school is definitely French and I'd like to be a translator when I grow up (translating stories, not interpreting or other forms of translating although I might be open-minded when I get there since I just like translating). I say I have favourites (my favourite band is Keane, my favourite song is 'World, Hold On' by Bob Sinclair) but I find myself quite tolerant with my tastes. There's rarely something I don't like (which is why you'll find both Linkin Park and Tchaikovsky on my iPod) whether it be in the field of books, music, films and tv (though I don't watch a lot of that now because I tragically became obsessed with writing - just kidding, how could it be tragic?).
Talking about books: I am a lover of fantasy and adventure. Magic and the Supernatural are my favourite themes, all interlaced with a bit of love. Love and the Supernatural are my main sources of inspiration at the moment and I think this is to do with the actual reason i became addicted to writing and suddenly capable of writing novels: my discovery of Twilight and afterwards L.J. Smith's Night World Series. I love the soulmate principle and am constantly trying to find new ideas for love stories (and I'd be lying if I said I came up short because my bookworm tendencies of primary and early secondary school have given me an easily inspired imagination). As well as writing about the supernatural, I love reading about it. As well as Night World, I've recently read The Vampire Diaries (and been confuddled about the major differences between the book and the ITV2 programme) and was inspired by Smith's writing to read The Forbidden Game and Dark Visions series.
Recent reads:
Artemis Fowl and the Atlantis Complex (Eoin Colfer)
Clockwork Prince (Cassandra Clare)
Fallen (Lauren Kate)
I'd tell you I love you but then I'd have to kill you (Ally Carter)
Favourite characters from books:
Rob Kessler (from Dark Visions by L. J. Smith): He's so caring and I think his un-awareness of girls is cute. He certainly turns out to be romantic later on.
Gabriel Wolfe (also fromDark Visions): He's lovely at the end. but earlier, there's something attractive about his badness...
Galen Drache (from Night World: Witchlight by L. J. Smith):
He's really gentle, another caring guy, and I love how he responds to being Keller's soulmate. Also a romantic one.
Artemis Fowl (from Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer):
Maybe it's the fact that he's not such a good guy... I don't know, I just thought he was cool when I read the books.
Julian (from The Forbidden Game by L. J. Smith):
pretty much the same as for Gabriel.
Damon Salvatore (from The Vampire Diaries by L. J. Smith):
he's such a well-written character. I find I enjoy reading about him
Adam (from The Secret Circle by L. J. Smith):
His eyes are my favourite colour! No, that was a joke. Barely thought about that while reading it. Hm, I don't know... It's more to do with the fact that the entire book was so incredibly well-written, this time. I love a good romance and here Adam was an aspect of that. :D
Will Herondale and Jem Carstairs (from Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare).
Will: I find his arrogance funny. He comes up with the witty one-liners in this book.
Jem: He's lovely. So caring and decent... Awww (lol)
Magnus Bane, Simon ___ and Alec Lightwood (from the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare)
Reason: Magnus and Alec are really funny, plus Alec can be quite sweet.
Simon: He tries to be a gentleman and he's a really lovely person :)
Saturday 10th July (lol, this is like a blog): I have just read The Forbidden Game books!!! I absolutely could not put them down! I finished all three in under 24 hours! They were amazing! I know they're books I'll pick up again and love in the future. I think L. J. Smith is fast becoming my favourite author.
Monday 19th July: Over the weekend, I read Dark Visions. It was so moving. There were several points at which I thought I was going to cry. It was such an amazing series and I really recommend L. J. Smith's work to any young adult who likes romance and the supernatural.
Friday 22nd October: I have just read The Secret Circle Trilogy. No prizes for guessing who it was by. There wouldn't even be prizes if it wasn't written further up on my profile. Oh, I love her. The silver cord... The silver cord!!! I want a silver cord! I did when it was mentioned in Night World. Honestly fantastic books. I just wish they were longer and there was more to do with the silver cord(!!!) Lol. Maybe that could be an idea for a fan fiction story. I highly recommend the trilogy, especially if you don't like long books.
Now I've finished my communication of just about everything that makes me me (apart from personality traits which I dare not go into), I shall go off and read, write or type up those Devastatingly Magnificent stories which are in an A4 lever arch folder, all handwritten and all very long).
Works I think people may like:
Taylor Kensington (complete, story) - Written after I read the first Cirque Du Freak book by Darren Shan.
Foxtail and Eagle (complete, story)
Interpreting Love (complete, story)
The Love Series (anthology of love poetry, April '11 onwards)
A poem I wrote on a comment once...:
As I slowly drift off, I decide to retire
and anticipate my journey into the dreamworld
Upon oceans blue will burn bright red fire
as smoke escapes chimneys, wafting and curled

P.S. I'd be only too happy to read and give feedback on something you've written. Just leave me a comment with a link to your work or its title and I'll read it (if not as soon as I receive the notification then as soon as I have free time). :)
P.P.S. shoutout to my (pretend) "ADOPTIVE BIG BROTHER"
"1) “You don’t love somebody because of their looks or their clothes or their car. You love them because they sing a song that nobody but you can understand.” Night World: Secret Vampire (L. J. Smith) 2) “Sometimes she was filled with so much awe and - and - and - and longing - that she thought she might break to pieces.” Night World: Daughters of Darkness (L. J. Smith) 3) "The soul would have no rainbow if the eyes had no tears" (Laurel Burch)"
