The Bear and the Bacon
'Twas naught I could do
Hiding by the loo
To stop the bear
All covered in hair
Riding a llama down the hall.
He broke bottles and jars
Filled the sink with toy cars
He ate all the bacon
And Pa's model Kraken
He wrote rude words on the wall.
I mourned for weeks after
For the bacon-less larder
The cans of whale blubber
Torn right asunder
And the poorly-rhymed verses I wrote.
